I went on a Sunday at 11:00 am. The line was long, but luckily we found a spot at the bar. You order first, pay, sit down, and then they bring your food. I highly recommend the Lamb Meatball & Labneh Shakshuka, it’s delicious! Plus, the bread they serve with it isn’t just any bread, it’s really good! The yogurt with fruit and granola was also delicious. I had a hot chai latte and a cold one, both were good. The house breakfast plate, the donut and the pastry we ordered were just ok. Also, it would be nice if drinks meant to be enjoyed there were served in cups instead of disposable glasses. The service was great despite the crowd, but the bathroom was terrible, they really need to improve that.

Stopped by Tatte Bakery and tried their special Honey Baklava Latte, breakfast, and the Pistachio Croissant. The croissant was absolutely amazing — buttery, flaky, and full of pistachio flavor! The latte was nice and unique, though I wish it had just a bit more of that baklava sweetness. Overall, a lovely spot for breakfast or coffee — cozy vibe and delicious treats.

I’m torn about the review. I’m not personally too impressed here but the food is not bad. There’s no clear indication of where the line starts or end. When it gets busy, the customers are basically on their own. The staff have very limited care. Duck hash meat was a little overcooked to me, husband likes it a lot. Sandwiches with croissant was good. Tried the Pistachio latte, the pistachio paste is very thick. Great as a dessert, very filling. We ordered some pastry to go. A guy tried to put our things in a paper bag, he tried a few ones and decided to not put our stuff in a bag in the end. Before they handed us our order(a box and two bags), one of the bag with cookies fell on the floor. I saw it from a distance (they didn’t think anyone saw it) and waiting to see what they’ll do. They did nothing, just called my name and handed everything to me loose without a bag.

Such a lovely, consistent coffee house and bakery experience. The environment and aesthetics are nice and relaxing, the food selection for pastries, sweets and meals are great. Love the new summer tea choices along with their tried and true coffee choices. Prices for drinks are similar to Starbucks, but with a more elevated and welcoming experience.

It’s one of those places you keep coming back to and not only for the delicious coffee and amazing food, but above all for the exceptional service. YAMY is truly outstanding. She is always smiling, consistently professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Strongly recommended

Good ambience. One of the best café latte I ever had!! We tried Smoked Salmon and Avocado Tartine. The sourdough was too toasted to hurt my mouth; everything else was good.

Huge cafe! The ceiling is super high and there's plenty of different places to sit. Their coffee was amazing, my oat milk cappuccino was super yummy. They have really good food too, I had the pita with broccoli, hummus, squash, and pickled cabbage which was so good, and dairy free! The staff was great, very busy though.

Food: 5 out of 5 Service: 4.5 out of 5 Atmosphere: 5 out of 5 Price/Value: 4.5 out of 5 Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.75 out of 5 Recommendations: Smoked Salmon, Avocado, & Egg Sandwich, Almond Croissant, Tiramisu, Black Sesame Latte I’m so grateful of Tatte’s existence in D.C. It is the reason why I love brunch and why brunch deserves to be loved by everyone. They have an expansive menu of brunch items, and everything is so good. I had the best salmon and egg sandwich in my entire life here. The almond croissant and tiramisu are also top-tier. I had to get the back sesame latte because where else can you get that? This is easily my favorite brunch spot, and I hope I will have a chance to come back again!

Came to DC from Florida and looking for a good breakfast spot in while here. just happened to walk by this place and stopped in. We could not seem to stay away from this place three days in a row and we had the salmon and avocado breakfast sandwich and salmon and avocado tartine. The salmon and avocado were piled on. They certainly did not skimp or hold back and you certainly get your value for the money free . We also had the blueberry / blackberry cheesecake and they have multiple coffee drink options. Highly recommend!

Loved the food, desserts, and tea. It’s a good place to come to get some work done or people watch while eating. The food and desserts were delicious.

Great place with diversity of food. Really like the egg dishes, the croissant have too much butter in them tho. The French toast was not to our liking but the coffee was amazing. In short highly recommend egg dishes and sandwiches less so the sweets breakfast. Did not try the cakes but they looked awesome.

Tatte is a cafe shop with stillness to it. You feel things going on at a calm pace here compared to all other QSR coffee cafes now a days. They serve some really yum, chocla sandwiches, croissants and cakes. As it’s a cafe, no doubt the coffee have to be great. Try the house special, they do it with honey, tastes good. The vibe of this place is from 1900’s , white, spacious and spread out. You will notice people actually chatting over a cup of coffee. Hit this place if you are planning a coffee date. Staff is great. Place is neat and chic.

Cozy, nice interior. Good coffee. The food and the pastry is okay but nothing crazy.
